DR. RANY ABURASHED

Dr. Rany Aburashed completed undergraduate work studying Psychology and world religion before graduating with honors from Albion College. He received the Michigan Medical Grant to attend Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his doctorate in 2006.

Dr. Aburashed completed his Neurology residency and subsequently served as the Chief Resident at Michigan State University/Sparrow hospital. Dr. Aburashed than went on to be the founder of Memorial Healthcares Institute for Neurosciences and Multiple Sclerosis.

Dr. Aburashed has extensive research experience in the neuroimmunology space serving as primary investigator on over 30 Phase 1-4 clinical trials. In addition to this, he is best known for his work using Single Molecule array assay technology to assess protein biomarkers in Multiple Sclerosis patients. Dr. Aburashed’s primary research interest is in precision disease management using neurofilament light and biomarker profiles to better understand treatment effects in Multiple Sclerosis.

Dr. Aburashed has been featured on CNN, Nasdaq, Yahoo News, and multiple other news outlets regarding his clinical expertise and lectures both nationally and internationally on his work. Dr. Aburashed previously served as the Chair of Neurology and Chair of specialty services at Memorial Healthcare before joining Insights executive leadership team as the Corporate Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Specialty Services.

Iyad Alnachef

Iyad Alnachef is the Insight Corporate Director of Insight Lab, Pharmacy, and Insurance. He has a diverse educational background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies and Dental Technology. He further pursued his academic journey and obtained a Master’s degree in Youth Development from Michigan State University.

With over twenty years of experience in leadership and community development, Iyad has worked as a management consultant for various local, regional, and national organizations. In his role at Insight, his primary responsibility is to ensure that his divisions align with Insight’s philosophy and approach to healthcare, Patient Care Second to None. He strives to position these divisions for operational and financial growth.

Iyad currently oversees several divisions within Insight including Pharmacy, Lab, Emergency Department, Risk Management, and Insurance. He is currently working on a few special projects including the establishment of Insight’s self-funded insurance programs through Insight Insurance Services. This initiative aims to create insurance offerings that are tailored to Insight’s specific needs and requirements. Additionally, he is spearheading the development of a comprehensive Employee Benefits program that empathetically addresses the needs of Insight’s employees.

Amjad Quadri

Amjad M. Quadri, Regional Manager, joined the Chicago office of Saturna Capital in June 2015. He brings experience in Islamic banking, including business and product development. Previous employers include Guidance Financial (Chicago) and University Bank (Ann Arbor MI). He has a BS in Information Decision Sciences from the University of Illinois.

ATIQ NAKRAWALA

Atiq Nakrawala is the Treasurer at Insight Chicago. He has previous experience as a Board Member and Chief Financial Officer of Insight Surgical Hospital. He has over twenty years of experience in the financial space, including starting his career at Morgan Stanley. In his career, he has worked with healthcare institutions for the last fifteen years and has a dual MBA and Master of Finance degree.

Baseer Tajuddin

Baseer Tajuddin is General Counsel at Insight Management, Board Member and Chief Compliance Officer at Insight Surgical Hospital and Chief Legal Officer at Insight . He has been practicing healthcare law in Illinois and Michigan for the last ten years and been with Insight since 2014. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law, cum laude. He began his practice at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, one of the largest insurance-based law firms in Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar, and his professional memberships include the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
